SPECTROPHOTOMETERS (Visible, UV-Visible, Infra-Red, Atomic Absorption, Double wavelength, Fluorescence)
Near UV-Visible
Sometimes called colorimeters or spectrocolorimeters, the NUV-Vis spectrophotometers have a spectral range from 320 to 1100nm, with a bandwidth of 2 to 5nm
UV-Visible
These models have a spectral range extended to Ultra-Violet, from 165/190nm to 1050/1200nm, with a bandwidth of 0.1 to 20nm (depending on models and options)
Infra-Red
Covering the middle Infra-red, these models have a spectral range of 4000 to 600 cm-1, i.e. 2.5 to 17 µm, with a bandwidth of 2 to 4 cm-1
Atomic Absorption
The sample is atomized into a flame or a furnace; analysis are achieved through the atomization source. Spectral range: 190 to 900nm, bandwidth: 0.2 to 2nm
Fluorescence
Spectrofluorometers, or Fluorescence Spectrometers, are highly sensitive instruments, based on measurement of light emission after light excitation; a multivalent and evolutive range
Dissolution Testing
In the Pharmaceutical field, dissolution testing requires simultaneous measurements on 8 reactors (6 samples, 1 blank and 1 standard), possible on 1 liter as well as on 500µl
BIO Spectrophotometers
